How Zion works

Send. Hold. Spend. Across the islands.

Three things, done well, in a product built around the way Caribbean families actually move money — not the way American neobanks imagine they do.

01 / Send

To family. In seconds. At the rate you see.

Push USD, JMD, XCD, TTD, BBD or GYD to a Zion account, a bank account, or a corner shop pickup. Mommy gets the money before the call ends. No three-day "compliance review."

02 / Hold

In the currency that protects you.

Keep your wages in USD. Keep your Carnival fund in TTD. Keep your school-fee pool in JMD. Currencies hold separately, convert when you decide — never silently devalued by a bank's spread.

03 / Spend

From Brooklyn to Bridgetown.

The Zion card spends in any local currency you hold, with no surprise FX fee, online or at any merchant. Premium and Founders tiers unlock concierge, lounge, and Carnival fete access.

Multi-currency holding

Six currencies. One wallet.

Most apps convert your money the moment it hits the account — at a rate they decide, not you. Zion holds each currency natively. You see the balance, you choose when to convert, you watch the spread.

  • USD — for wages, savings, and stability
  • JMD — for family in Jamaica, for school fees, for everyday
  • XCD — across the OECS, one balance for six islands
  • TTD — for Carnival, for Trinidadian payroll, for fete season
  • BBD — for Crop Over and Bajan family
  • GYD — for Guyanese sends, with the right precision

For the way Caribbean families actually live

Built around our rituals — not their categories.

Christmas back home. Carnival. School term. Funeral repatriation. The diaspora moves money on a calendar no neobank has ever priced in. Zion does.

Christmas sends

Schedule December sends in November, lock the rate, let Mommy collect in cash or to her account. No queues, no Western Union markup.

Carnival concierge

Premium members get a Carnival fund that holds in TTD, plus concierge for fete tickets, mas band fees, and J'ouvert pickup.

School term transfers

Set a recurring USD → JMD send for school fees, books, and lunch money. Goes through on the first of every term, every time.

Family pool funds

A shared pool for funeral repatriation, weddings, or hospital bills. Multiple people contribute, one person spends, every transaction is in the ledger.

"I sent for my grandmother's funeral from Toronto in 14 minutes. The bank would have taken three days and charged me ninety dollars. Zion is built for what we actually do."

Real questions

Things people actually ask us.

Is Zion a bank?
Zion is a multi-currency wallet and settlement network operating with a sponsor bank. Your USD is held by a US-licensed institution. Your JMD, XCD, TTD, BBD and GYD balances settle through partner banks across CARICOM. The product is built like a bank because it sits on top of bank rails.
How is this different from Wise or Remitly?
Wise and Remitly are great at one transfer. Zion is built for the inter-island life — the Christmas pool, the Carnival fund, the family-of-twelve hospital ledger, the school-term recurring send. Six Caribbean currencies are first-class, not afterthoughts. And the brand is ours.
Do I need to live in the Caribbean?
No. Most Zion members are in New York, Miami, Toronto, or London, sending to family in Kingston, Port of Spain, Bridgetown, or St. George's. Some live across two islands. We built for both, in one product.
What about stablecoins and crypto?
Stablecoins are how we settle USD across borders quickly and cheaply. They are infrastructure under the wallet — you never see them, you never need to understand them. The product is a bank.
How do you make money?
Premium and Founders membership fees, a transparent FX spread on conversions outside the included monthly threshold, and merchant interchange on card spend. We do not sell your data. Ever.
